The Artist Suites at Flashback Theater are studio and offices that allow artists of all types the opportunity to work in a creative and collaborative atmosphere.

About the Location

Located at 400 East Mount Vernon Street in downtown Somerset, the Artist Suites are on the corner of E. Mount Vernon Street and College Street. Next door are performing arts organizations Flashback Theater and McNeil Music Center.

Artist Studios

Studios are available for artists to lease on a monthly basis and include access to shared resources of the building. Three studios are located within a suite, allowing for a community feel amongst the resident artists. Additionally, there are two private studios that allow for quieter work but still has a connection to the community of the building. Studios are available starting at $200/month.

The Corner Gallery

The Corner Gallery is a public space for artists to showcase their work. This exhibit space is the ideal size for artists that want to do a smaller show around a theme, or for artists that are just beginning to build their portfolio of show-ready pieces. Gallery shows ideally coincide with the theater season, allowing for FbTC’s audiences to browse an exhibit during intermissions. Keep up with all the latest exhibits here.
