Audition for our Season Announcement Cabaret!

2015 Cabaret performersShowcase your talent at our annual season announcement cabaret. The evening will be comprised of monologues and song selections. Duets and small group numbers are welcome. Throughout the evening, Producing Artistic Director Sommer Schoch will also be announcing Flashback’s upcoming events for the next year.

Auditions for remaining spots in our Season Announcement Cabaret will be held on March 17th from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Carnegie Community Arts Center. Auditions will be held in a music studio on the lower level of the building, and can be accessed by the side entrance to the building.

PREPARE:

Be ready to perform the material you would like to be considered for the Cabaret performance. It can be a monologue, solo number, or group number from a staged musical or an original work.  If you have a headshot and performing resume, please bring them. Accompaniment will be provided for those who provide their sheet music to amanda@mcneilvoicestudio.com by March 10th. 

REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE DATES:

The performance will be held April 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the Carnegie Community Arts Center. A mandatory rehearsal will be held that morning at 10 a.m. Each performer or group must also schedule a private brush-up rehearsal in the two weeks leading up to the Cabaret.

The Season Announcement Cabaret is part of the Let’s Play! series, free events that offer actors and performers the opportunity to expand their skill sets. This year, the Season Announcement Cabaret is sponsored by the Somerset-Pulaski County Rotary Club. The event takes place on April 9 at 7 p.m.
