A return to the familiar is just what the doctor ordered. Audiences are sure to remember Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) from the 2016 presentation with cast members Jade Ellis, Sarah Wood, and Bailey Patterson, Junior Ensemble Members Alex George and Noble Cunningham. But the new cast is sure to rock your socks off with their own take on this flashback at Flashback! The new trio of Holiday hooligans is Martha Pratt, Billy Christopher Maupin, and Thomas Alvey, herded successfully (also known as directed) by Bradley Gilmore.

Bradley Gilmore (Director) Bradley makes his solo directorial debut with Flashback working on Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and then some). He co-directed Hazard County and he appeared in the 2019 season in the Pirates of Penzance (Pirate King) and Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley. He also played percussion in the band for the FbTC production of Little Shop of Horrors. Born and raised in Somerset, Kentucky, he has played in bands and been involved with music most of his life. Currently he teaches percussion and guitar.

Martha Pratt (Martha), is excited to kick off another season at Flashback. She starred as Gertie in The Dollmaker and appeared as Margaret in The Lady’s Not for Burning for Flashback’s Summer 2021 Season. She has performed in several shows in previous seasons: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Claudius), Miss Bennett:  Christmas at Pemberley (Anne), Pirates of Penzance (Kate), and projects such as the workshop for Mary: Her Story.  She has also appeared in productions at Somerset Community College and Good Neighbors Theatre in Byrdstown, Tennessee.

Billy Christopher Maupin (Billy Christopher), Billy Christopher Maupin’s credits include FbTC: All Together Now! (Director) Mary: Her Story (Workshops); Camp Anomaly. Firehouse Theatre: Ann (Director), The Picture of Dorian Gray (Dorian et al), Preludes (RTCC Award – Best Director of a Musical). 5th Wall Theatre: Carrie the Musical (RTCC Award – Best Director), The Lyons, Patti Issues. Co-founder and Associate Artistic Director Emeritus. Carpenter Science Theatre Company Artistic Associate. STYLE Weekly Top 40 Under 40.

And to round out the tumultuous trio, Thomas Alvey (Thomas) realized nothing can keep him from performing and he is so excited to be back with the Flashback family. Thomas was recently seen in the Ensemble of All Together Now! Previous FbTC credits: Hazard County (Blake), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Hamlet) and American Hero (Bob). He recently graduated with his MFA in Writing for the Screen and Stage from Point Park University and is the creator of Camp Anomaly, an audio drama presented by FbTC, with other works in progress.

Keeping the production running smoothly as stage manager is Renate Dopp, with help from her assistant stage manager Eli Parker. Sound designer, Trey Bray, will once again bring his unique ear to the show’s audible components.

Renate Dopp (Stage Manager) loves that performances are moving indoors this season!  Previous FBTC stage management:  All Together Now!, The Lady’s Not For Burning, The Dollmaker, audio drama Camp Anomaly, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, Pirates of Penzance, Miss Bennett: Christmas at Pemberley, and Every Christmas Story Ever Told….And Then Some! (2016 performance).  Previous FBTC performances: All Together Now!, Mary: Her Story (workshop), A Nightmare on Backstreet: A Boy Band Musical Parody (Teddy Crooner), Little Shop of Horrors (voice of Audrey II), and Season Announcement Cabarets.

Once again behind the Sound Design is Trey Bray! Always a masterful addition to Flashback, his work has been featured in the previous seasons productions The Lady’s Not For Burning and The Dollmaker. You might’ve also seen him onstage as well with his work as an actor last season or even at Somerset Community College!

Eli Parker (Assistant Stage Manager) Eli has always been drawn to the acting aspect of theater, having experience in plays throughout high school and then with SCC and Flashback. However, he’s excited to broaden his horizons and is thankful for the opportunity to work as an assistant stage manager.
