The spring schedule of Let’s Play! events is announced!
Let’s Play! events take place on the second Saturdays of the month at 7 pm at the Carnegie Community Arts Center (unless otherwise announced).
Let’s Play! is an audience interactive event and is free to all. You will experience theater as actors experience it: a process of ongoing development and learning. Most months will feature an hour of a specialized theater experience, followed by open-ended improv games. Previous features: 10-minute plays & Storytelling. April 11: Mock Auditions
Location: Carnegie Community Arts Center
Have you ever auditioned for a play? This is your opportunity to try it out, with no pressure of being rejected! You can play the part of an actor or the part of stage manager, casting director, or simply observe. First we will hear a few monologues, then we will “call back” actors to do a few cold readings. No casting will occur at this event, but auditionees may choose to receive feedback on their resume, headshot, and monologue. Following the hour of mock auditions, we will play improv games.

May 9: Cabaret & Season Announcement
Location: The Bistro at Carnegie Community Arts Center
We will finish up our spring season of Let’s Play! with a Cabaret and announcement of our next year of productions. The Cabaret will feature a variety of performances by actors, singers, musicians, and comedians. For this special Let’s Play! we will be in the more intimate Bistro in the basement of the Carnegie.
With limited performance slots available, all performers wishing to participate should sign up here by April 20.
