This December, Flashback Theater Co. teams up with McNeil Voice Studio for a winter event you won’t want to miss.
On December 12, 2015, FbTC will present a reader’s theater production of A Seussified Christmas Carol by Peter Bloedel. The one act play will tell the well known story of Scrooge and his ghostly visitors in the style of Dr. Seuss.
Eight actors will take on more than 30 characters to tell the story of A Christmas Carol with a Dr. Seuss flair! Quick costume changes and the Seussified rhyming scheme will make for a delightful and entertaining storytelling style.
The readers’ theater production is part of Flashback Theater’s Let’s Play! series, a free monthly event open to performing artists and theater lovers. Each month features a different theater workshop theme for local theater talent to participate in at no cost. Past events have featured Storytelling, Improv Games, and 10-minute Plays.
Following the Flashback Theater presentation is the 2015 McNeil Winter Vocal Showcase. Admission is free and refreshments will be provided.
